The shell was good bones and bad light. We cut two courtyards through the first floor slab and let daylight fall all the way to the roasting floor.
Desks are oak-topped and shared; the only enclosed rooms are for calls and for tasting. Acoustic felt is dyed the colour of green coffee.
A public café at the street edge pays for the building’s ground rent and doubles as the company’s reception.
